Pudgy Bunnies — Solana NFT Minting Platform
Overview
Pudgy Bunnies is a Solana-based NFT minting platform built to deliver a smooth, secure, and exciting minting experience for collectors. The project required a clean React interface, seamless wallet integration, and a reliable on-chain mint workflow capable of handling high traffic during the launch window.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge was ensuring a flawless, lag-free minting experience under heavy load. Solana transactions needed to be signed and confirmed instantly while preventing failed mints or duplicate attempts. Additionally, the UI had to communicate real-time mint status, supply updates, and wallet connectivity in a clear, user-friendly way.

Process
Minting Flow Architecture
Configured the React frontend to interact with Solana minting programs using @solana/web3.js. Ensured correct transaction building, signing, and confirmation logic.
Wallet Integration
Integrated Phantom and other Solana wallets with secure connection handling, balance checks, and mint eligibility validation.
Real-Time Updates
Added live supply counters, mint progress, and state feedback using Solana RPC calls to keep users informed throughout the mint.
UI/UX & Branding
Designed a playful NFT minting interface that reflected the Pudgy Bunnies brand while keeping the experience simple and friction-free.
High-Traffic Optimization
Optimized API calls, reduced unnecessary renders, and implemented client-side caching to keep the UI responsive even during peak mint activity.
